Course Details

Take the PADI Divemaster course and do what you love to do as a career.

•    Duration:
3 weeks to 6 months
•    Prerequisites:
For starting, you must be a certified PADI Rescue Diver, at least 18 years old. Additionally, you need to have:
•    Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months.
•    A medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months.
•    A minimum of 40 logged dives to begin the course and 60 dives to earn certification.
•    The course overview:
•    This course, your first level of professional diving training, will allow you to work closely with a PADI Instructor to fine-tune your diving techniques, such as mastering the effortless hover, and improve your rescue skills. You will also develop the skills to manage and supervise diving activities, making you a role model in the diving community.
•    As a PADI Divemaster, you will lead dive activities and assist in diver training, whether at a world-renowned dive destination or a local dive shop. The adventure of a lifetime is just ahead. As a Divemaster, you’ll be part of PADI, an organization.
Training Experience:
•    We offer program where you will complete the first 10 days of the course with us, followed by at least 10 days of hands-on work experience. This combination is the best way to become a qualified PADI dive professional.

•    Scuba gear:
As a dive professional, you’ll need essential scuba equipment, 
•    Dive computer.
•    Dive knife.
•    At least two surface signaling devices.
During practical training exercises, such as underwater mapping and search & recovery, you will also use:
•    Compass.
•    Floats.
•    Marker Buoys.
•    Lift bags.
•    Slates.
•    Learning material:
Start your journey with Divemaster Online, PADI's eLearning option. You can complete eight knowledge development sections at your own pace, with access to an online version of the Divemaster Manual for reference throughout the course. Alternatively, you can study by reading the Manual and watching the Divemaster Video (a book and DVD package).
